Paying homage to the Société moderne d'instruments à vent from 20th century France, Ensemble Fioritura is presenting you some hidden gems of the era in different chamber combinations. Aim to create new repertoire for wind instruments, we are also featuring two world premiere commissions for winds and piano, written by composer-pianist Lance Mok.

Performers

Kasper Chan
Performed as a concerto soloist with the Chung Chi Wind
Orchestra (2023) & CUHK Student Orchestra (2016),
Kasper has worked with The Learners Orchestra, Ponte
Orchestra and SingFest. With Fuloo Fuloo Flute Quartet,
he performed at the French May Art Fest. Being a piccolo
finalist in the Harold Clark Woodwind Competition (2017),
Kasper holds a Master’s degree from Trinity Laban
Conservatoire after his Bachelor’s at CUHK. He was
selected to perform in the Flautissimo Festival, Rome.
Chairman of Hong Kong Piccolo Association, Ivy Chuang has
performed and given masterclasses worldwide, including
guest appearances with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
(UK) and Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias
(Spain), soloist with wind ensemble & orchestra in Boston
University & CUHK. She was the first-ever & sole Asian
artist (2018-20) Brannen Brothers Flutemakers, Inc.
Passionate about teaching, she is the music faculties of the
HKAPA and three other local universities.
Jonathan Ma 
A Royal College of Music 1st-class-honors graduate
(2020). Winner of the Springboard Concerto Competition
(2019) and the Princess Galyani Vadhana International
Competition (2019), he was named Sevenoaks Young
Musician of the Year (2018). He has performed as a soloist
with the Lydian Orchestra and the Ponte Orchestra. Served
as a guest principal flautist with the Hong Kong Chamber
Orchestra and the Chung Chi Orchestra. He is also an
active educator in music performance.

Jonathan Ma

Ka Wing Karen Wong, currently serving as Flute and Piccolo of the Macao Orchestra. She has gained international recognition as a Britten Pears Young Artist for 2024/25, and was selected as part of the Rising Stars of Woodwind at the 2025 Edinburgh International Festival. Wong has collaborated with leading orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, The Hallé, Northern Ballet Sinfonia, Scottish Ballet Orchestra, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. Performed as concerto soloist
in Italy, Austria, the UK & HK. In 2022, she won the British
Flute Society Competition and 2nd Prize at Tampere Flute
Fest Piccolo Competition. She

Collaborator

Ginny Tin
Ginny graduated with a Master of Music (Perf) degree from
the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in 2021, studying with
Margaret Campbell and Christopher Green. She earned
her BA in Music from the CUHK under the guidance of Ivy
Chuang. Ginny performs as a soloist, orchestral flautist and
piccoloist, and chamber musician, while also teaching in
schools and with chamber orchestras.
